101 Point Checklist to prepare your home for sale
Before putting your property on the market, there’s an abundance of things you can do to absolutely maximise your property value! We all talk about a good real estate agent and a strong marketing campaign but before anything, the presentation takes the cake.
There’s no doubt many TV shows stipulate what a brand new kitchen can add to the value off a property and how easy these renovations can be but the truth is and what you don’t see is the countless tradies working behind the scenes and all the hiccups that come up along the way.
Nonetheless, a minor renovation can also turn into a costly one and can often blow out above the budget.
Having the experience and the budget can certainly streamline this but it also begs the question; What if the new buyers don’t like the new kitchen or colour of the brand new floors you’ve just installed?
This comes up far to often in my years of selling Real Estate. The difference between an update and a drawn out renovation can be costly, both financially and emotionally and also bares risk of over capitalising on you’re biggest asset.
For this reason I’ve provided a free 101 Point checklist that you can walk through the entirety of your property, room by room and tick
off the little things that really count without blowing your budget and your time.
The little things really do matter and whether you’re looking to upsize/downsize, perhaps saving the budge
for your new property could go a long way whilst still maximising the value of your own home.
